Brandon Yurkiewicz
Salesforce & Platform Engineer
I own production systems end to end — from ambiguous business asks to reliable, deployed software — and use AI responsibly to ship faster.
About
I'm a Salesforce developer with 2+ years of production experience building and supporting Salesforce and Experience Cloud solutions — Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, integrations, and the OAuth and REST/SOAP plumbing that connects a CRM to the outside world. I own that work end to end: requirements discovery, solution design, implementation, UAT, release, and whatever breaks in production afterward.
That platform depth sits on top of full-stack range — React, Next.js, Node, SQL, and Python — so I can move fluidly between declarative automation and custom code depending on what a problem actually needs, not what's trendy.
Before software, I studied biology and chemistry. That background shows up more than people expect: structured hypothesis testing, comfort with ambiguity, and a habit of tracing a symptom back to its root cause rather than patching the surface. I also use AI tools deliberately — to move faster on implementation, debugging, and documentation — while still owning the validation, security, and correctness of what ships.
Experience
Salesforce Developer / Analyst Programmer
May 2024 — PresentProgressed from Student Developer to Contract and Full-Time Analyst Programmer.
- —Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain production Salesforce and Experience Cloud capabilities for a nationwide partner and constituent network — owning work from requirements through post-release support.
- —Develop reusable Apex controllers, services, triggers, batch/future processes, SOQL queries, test classes, custom LWCs, and declarative automation, with attention to bulkification, governor limits, and maintainability.
- —Build and support integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST APIs, SOAP services, OAuth flows, and Apex callouts — investigating failures and turning third-party behavior into reliable CRM workflows.
- —Lead UAT planning, test-case development, defect triage, and stakeholder sign-off; write accessible user guides and technical references that improve adoption and operational continuity.
- —Partner with program leadership and end users to translate ambiguous business processes into data models, technical requirements, and prioritized delivery plans.
- —Use AI-assisted development for solution exploration, implementation, debugging, and documentation, while independently validating security, platform limits, and test coverage.
